Condon, Marissa and Grahovski, Georgi G. (2008) Model reduction of a perturbative representation of a weakly nonlinear system. In: WCE 2008 - World Congress on Engineering, 2-4 July 2008, London, UK.
Abstract
The paper explores the model reduction of a perturbative representation of a weakly nonlinear system. It examines the behaviour of the perturbative model under several transformations with a view to determining a suitable projection matrix for use in Krylov model reduction routines. The paper proceeds to illustrate the determination of such a projection matrix. Finally, suitable examples illustrate the efficacy of the proposed approach.
